Summer Term 2017.

Welcome back to the Summer Term.

We hope that you enjoyed the excitement of The Easter Reading Challenge and the 10 in 10 maths challenge and that after a refreshing break, you're all ready for the term ahead!

This is our CREATE term and we'll be learning all about the Lake District in preparation for our long-awaited residential to Castlerigg Manor in June.

This week, we'll be sending out important dates for the Summer Term for Class 6 - watch this space!

The term ahead is full and exciting and we'll keep you up-to-date with our events via our webpage.

Castlerigg Manor

It's now leass than a week to our eagerly anticipated week at Castlerigg Manor. Many thanks for returning completed consent forms so promptly.

Below, you will find copies of the kit list and itinerary. A final reminder will be sent home on Thursday this week which will include timings fo Monday 19th June. Please do not hesitate to talk to one of us if you require any further information.

On Wednesday 14th June, it's BOOT DAY - we'll be taking our Castlerigg boots, socks, backpacks and waterproofs for a test drive to the woods. Children should come to school in their uniform but may bring shorts or joggers and a top for the walk.

Homework Timetable

During the first three weeks of this term, homework will be set in shorter, more frequent chunks as we make our final preparations for the SATs in May.

Below is our homework timetable for this Term. This will enable all children in Class 6 to be organised and well prepared. If homework cannot be completed for any reason, we would be grateful for a letter from home.
