Reception Summer News

Summer Term 2

The children will start to look at sharing, doubling and halving in maths with numbers up to 20.

They will be doing some writing about being a superhero and starting to use narrative in their writing.

The children will contiue to keep a Pea Diary about their seed they have planted, they will be bringing their plant home on Friday so they can look after them.  

The children will continue to do Yoga on a Tuesday morning for their PE session, and will begin practising for sports day on the field.

Reading Books

If your child's reading record does not have a comment in and hasn't been signed their reading book will not be changed.  It is vital that you continue to read with your child on a daily basis, they should be reading a few pages of their book every night.
