World Museum Trip

We had a great visit to the World Museum today. We started our day with a session learning all about dinosaurs and how our world changed while they roamed the earth. After lunch we had the opportunity to walk around the museum looking at the various exhibits, then it was time for the main event - The Stone Age to Iron Age session. This was a fantastic, interactive session where the children could handle lots of real and replica artefacts from prehistoric times. Their tasks included using their knowledge to work out what various items were used for, think about how items were made and what they were made from. The children really enjoyed this session and got a lot out of it. Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping us on the day.

Have a look at the gallery for the photos.
