Monday 13th July

We can hardly believe it but here we are about to start the last week of the Summer Term; the last week of our bubbles and home learning and your last week in St Jerome's Primary School. Although our year was cut short we have so many wonderful memories from our time together in Class 6 and especially of the amazing time we've had together over these last four weeks. It feels so lucky that we've been able to spend this time together.

A huge Thank You goes to our Class 6 parents for your support and understanding this year. The children of Class 6 have been amazing throughout the whole of the year and we want to thank every one of you for your determination, enthusiasm and energy. You are a brilliant class!

Remember that Wednesday 15th July is our class picnic. It's going to be a great opportunity to get together in our bubbles and celebrate being such a fabulous class.  It's own clothes for that day and we look forward to welcoming you at 11:30. Don't forget your food and something to sit on. The weather forecast is good - let's keep our fingers crossed! We can't wait.

We know that some of you are not able to be back in school and we'll miss you but it's really important that you keep safe and take care.

It's been good to hear from some of you via our class email. It's a great place to share work and to pass on your latest news.

This week’s topic is: SPACE and the planning is on the usual place on our page. It offers lots of variety and is a fascinating topic - it should be informative and great fun.

Take care, keep smiling and we’ll see you very soon!

Don't forget that our class email is there for you to share your work, your news or any photos. We'd love to see what you're up to and will reply to everyone -  and that's a promise!

Our class email is:

Our new and final RE topic is: Universal Church and you'll find all the information that you need on this page. You can now look at the Explore section.

The Archdiocese have sent some links to the following new resources which include:

  • Reflections to sustain and encourage in uncertain times – hope.

All can be accessed/downloaded at or through by clicking on ‘Prayer and Other Resources’.

We're looking forward to seeing lots of you over the coming weeks.

For those of you who have flute or saxophone lessons with Mrs Davies, there are some resources attached below.

Our PE days are Thursdays, when we will be enjoying hockey coaching from experts from Formby Hockey Club and Fridays will be circuit training and developing our overall stamina and fitness.. On these days, children should come to school in their PE kits and trainers.

This is an exciting and varied term and we will continue to share and celebrate events in our class on our web page.

SATs Information

Information from the recent SATS Information Meeting has now been included on our class page, including the Powerpoint from the evening; the formal calculation methods and the SATs timetable. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any further information.

Mission Week - Collage

As part of our Mission Week work, Class 6 will be creating colourful collages. We would be grateful if children could bring in as many old magazines and brochrues as possible so that they can be used in our art work.

Thank you!
