Class 3 trip to Martin Mere

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 3 Year: 2017 - 2018

Class 3 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Martin Mere yesterday. We learned lots about the water cycle and how pollution and rubbish can enter our oceans and rivers. We then had a break in the play area before our well deserved lunch. In the afternoon we discovered how plant seeds disperse and the different ways plants try to protect their seeds from being eaten by animals. We then went on a plant hunt!

We just had time at the end to enjoy a stroll and feed the birds in the sunshine before heading back to school. It was a busy, enjoyable day and the children were a credit to you. Thanks to the parent helpers for coming with us.
