Ash Wednesday Service

Lesson: Religious education

Our Lenten Journey began today with an Ash Wednesday Service planned and led by children fom Class 6. It was wonderful to welcome Deacon Joe into school to distribute ashes to all children and to be part of our very special service.

We had the opportunity to reflect on our Lenten promises, to listen to scripture readings, sing hymns and to pray for God's help in putting them into practice so that we can grow in God's love during this season of Lent.
