Computing
Computers are now part of everyday life. For most of us, technology is essential to our lives; at home and at work. The national curriculum for computing aims to equip young people with the skills, knowledge and understanding of computing they will need for the rest of their lives. Through our computing curriculum at St Jerome's, we teach pupils about computers and how computer systems work, enable pupils to design and build programs, develop their ideas using technology and create a range of content. Our curriculum is sequential and key learning is built upon in each year group.
We are committed to building the digital resilience of our children. Through our computing curriculum, we ensure that our children are prepared for the modern world and online safety is taught regularly throughout the year.
