Design & Technology
At St Jerome's, we believe that a high-quality Design and Technology curriculum should engage, inspire and challenge pupils. We aim to provide a DT curriculum which inspires pupils to use their creativity and imagination to design and create products which solve real and relevant problems. During DT lessons, pupils acquire a broad range of subject knowledge and draw on disciplines such as mathematics, science, engineering, computing and art.
The curriculum has been planned so that units of work build on each other and children are able to make links with prior learning. The processes of design, create and evaluate are well-embedded into practice.
