Trip to Gillmoss Recycling Plant

Class: Year 3 Year: 2017 - 2018

Class 3 enjoyed an informative trip to Gillmoss recycling plant. The trip really enhanced our understanding of the importance of recycling our rubbish and what exactly we can recycle in Sefton. There were lots of interactive games, quizes and activities. The highlight was walking down the viewing area and seeing the rubbish from all around Sefton being sorted into bales ready for transportation to the various recycling plants around the North West.

Thanks to all the children for being excellent representatives of St Jerome's and to the parent helpers who came with us. A great day was had by all! We will feedback our learning in our upcoming assembly.
